Deep Well for Irrigation
In the first growing season of 2024, we had a 2 month drought that decimated our crops. The team did their best to irrigate with 5 gallon jugs, but it wasn’t enough in the heat. We have hopes to install a deep well that is powered by solar panels to pump water to an above ground tank. This tank will be used to irrigate the fields through a irrigation grid that will be made with pipes. We have already done a land survey for the water tables to find the best spot for the well when we are ready. This project will cost around $8,000.
Office Space, Bedrooms and Meeting Place
We have a long term goal of building this structure. It will provide office space, and better sleeping arrangements for the team. We are excited to become more established in the community. We are grateful for the the provisions we have, and excited for what is to come. This project could cost around $20,000.
Complete Projects
Storage Building is complete!
This is our storage building. We will use it for housing for the team at this time. In the future, we hope to use it as storage for our tools, supplies and harvests. Timing on this will be dependent on when we can build the Office, bedrooms and meeting structure. We have additionally installed an off grid solar system.
